Women empowerment through artisan body care is a powerful form of expression and CEO Asia El leads the charge in this space. This Brooklyn native and Los Angeles resident is making a positive difference in the wellness space because of the time, talent, and training Asia El and her wife provide for their customers.
During this episode, you will discover how this Army veteran applies the skills she developed in the Army with emphasis on her finding her voice and letting people know she's present and accounted for as an entrepreneur and creative. It's great to know that people around the globe hear Asia's voice through her remarkable product line.
Asia's vision for Asia El Artisan Body Care started at the age of ten and the spark has never been extinguished to the delight of her customers today. Asia shared her greatest challenge and her greatest success and they're inspirational for everyone listening to this episode.
Asia shared how she made a shift a year ago when COVID-19 made its appearance in her life. The fact of the matter is, Asia was recovering from a life-threatening medical challenge, and through a recovery period, her wife took up the reigns while she was recovering from her medical challenge and as a result of people no longer going to the largest flea market in Los Angeles where they had a space to present their products, more people purchased products online, so in essence, their business thrived during the lockdown because more people were home and purchasing products online.
Asia El is co-host and moderates The Soap and Candle Maker's Club on Clubhouse and it is exciting for everyone that attends it, they meet every Sunday evening at 7 PM (EDT), and entertain questions from people around the world.
