Aaron Golub is our honored guest during this episode of Wealth Academy Podcast and when it comes to inspiration, he is that guy. Aaron shares a ton of inspiration, motivation, and empowerment throughout this interview.
Few if any have experienced the kind of life Aaron Golub has experienced over the course of his lifetime. Make no mistake about it, Aaron doesn't make any excuses or request sympathy for he is a man that takes care of himself.
First of all, Aaron had a passion for the sport of football like no one else in the world. Though he's been legally blind all of his life, it doesn't define him. Aaron didn't allow his condition to stop him from pursuing his passion for the game. Aaron is brilliant in that he played football since the tender age of seven and he was able to overcome any weakness by outworking the competition, he arrived early and left late...in other words, Aaron did the work and then some, it has everything to do with perseverance and grit.
After graduating from Newton South High School Aaron was being scouted by NCAA Division 1 colleges, however, it was Tulane University that gave Aaron the nod and as a walk-on, he was given the opportunity to be a long snapper for the Green Waves football team.
Aaron Golub has the tenacity, fortitude, and determination to achieve anything he sets his mind to and he was called on to long snap the football for his team and he did so with passion and purpose. Golub, history was made when as a sophomore he snapped the football for an extra point after the Green Wave's final touchdown in a 45-31 win over Central Florida.
Golub has no vision in his right eye and limited vision in his left eye. During his senior year at Tulane, Aaron was named team captain and it's one of his greatest success stories among many. Not only was Aaron a tremendous football player, but he was also an excellent student. After graduation Aaron became an NFL free agent and was given an opportunity to try out with a few teams, however, he was not picked up to move forward in his football career.
Today Aaron Golub works in the financial industry, he's an entrepreneur, speaker, he leads the Blind Ambition Podcast and is great to know and work with. Aaron is an inspiration to many athletes in other sports and his never-give-up attitude is contagious for everyone. When it comes to philosophies in life, Aaron Golub believes all things are possible, just don't give up or quit on yourself, a great philosophy to follow for sure.
