It's bad enough when a country has a great recession, it's worst when there is a deadly pandemic  taking place.  Host Paul Lawrence Vann is a Certified Financial Coach and  during this episode, he's sharing what happened in 2008 in the U.S. during the great recession and he's drawing on similarities to what is happening now during COVID-19. 

During the great recession host, Vann used his financial expertise as a guest expert on WUSA Channel 9 television in Washington, DC to help people avoid mortgage foreclosure and avoid being sued by their credit card companies. For example, the guest interviewer asked Paul, 'How can people avoid losing their house during this recession?"  Paul replied, "The first thing people should do is contact their mortgage lender and work out terms with them to extend the length of the repayment and or apply for a loan modification." 

Just as people during the great recession of 2008 had to pivot to maintain a roof over their heads, the same holds true during COVID-19. The two seminal events in the history of the U.S. are strikingly similar, with the primary difference being the physical health of those infected is fatal as a result of COVI-19. 

Host Vann shares how people can avoid being sued by creditors for failure to pay back a loan and or credit card debt. COVID-19 is oh so similar to the great recession in that a lot of people lost their job and businesses never reopened again.
