Citizens, families, and small businesses in America are hurting, and unless the leadership of the United States starts leading it's going to send the U.S. economy into a spiral similar to the 2008 recession.
Paul discusses why people should pay close attention to their finances as the year-end draws near. There are several signs people should consider to make an assessment of their finances, some of them you will be familiar with.
- It's time to cut back, if you have the opportunity to pay your bills off completely do so.
- Cut the cord on your cable bill, do away with your gym membership, and work on your monthly budget and see how you can tighten it up even more.
- Contact your mortgage lender and or property management company to work out terms on your house and or apartment.
- Get free financial counseling, reach out to your local leadership, and find a couple of services that will be able to assist you pro bono.
- Get a side hustle to help you pay your bills, make extra money to assist you on this journey during the pandemic.
- Do all you can to protect your credit rating and scores.
- Contact all of your creditors and work out an agreement with them to pay them back.
- Have a plan in place because a bumpy ride is going to happen to us all.
